What is IMAGEvault?
IMAGEvault is a gallery platform for photographers. You show clients their photos in an online gallery under your own name, deliver originals as downloads and sell prints, photo books and bundle deals – with 18 templates, a Lightroom plugin and storage in the EU. A service by Weichert.at from Germany.
Who is IMAGEvault for?
Anyone who delivers photos to clients: wedding, portrait, family, business, event and motorsport photographers, plus school and nursery photography with an access code per child. One instance can be shared by several photographers and staff.
How much does IMAGEvault cost?
€24.99 a month including 1 TB storage and every feature, plus €20.00 for each additional TB or part thereof. The first 14 days are free with no credit card, after that you can cancel monthly.
Do I need a credit card for the trial?
No. Sign up with your email and a password and get started straight away. After 14 days everything is kept and viewable for 30 days. If you don’t subscribe by then, your IMAGEvault is deleted – we’ll email you beforehand.
Are there feature tiers or add-ons?
No. Every feature is included in the price – all templates, the shop, school & nursery, photo books, the Lightroom plugin, your own domain, team logins. The only extra cost is additional storage.
Does IMAGEvault take a cut of my sales?
No. Clients order from you on invoice, you issue the invoice yourself and keep the full amount. IMAGEvault only costs the monthly fee.
Where are my photos stored?
In data centres in the EU: storage (Cloudflare R2) and database (Durable Objects) run under EU jurisdiction. They’re delivered via Cloudflare’s global network, with previews cached close to the visitor – including outside the EU.
Can I bring my galleries over from Scrappbook & co.?
Yes. Paste a gallery link and IMAGEvault fetches albums, photos and originals by itself. Imported galleries keep their ID – old links keep working on your own domain.
Do parents only see their own child in school and nursery galleries?
Yes. Each access code opens only that child’s album and the group photos of their group. School and nursery galleries show no cover image and no preview in messaging apps or search engines.
What does the gallery look like on a phone?
Every template adapts. Clients can add the gallery to their home screen as an app and save photos straight to their Photos app.
How does the custom domain work?
You get your address name.image-vault.de straight away. For your own domain such as gallery.your-studio.com, add a CNAME record pointing to kunden.image-vault.de with your domain provider and enter the address in your dashboard – the certificate is issued automatically.
What happens if I need more than 1 TB?
Nothing stops working. Each additional TB or part thereof costs €20.00 a month. You can check your current usage in your account at any time.
How do I cancel?
At any time, effective at the end of the current billing month, in your account under ‘Invoices & payment methods’. Your IMAGEvault then stays viewable for 30 days so you can save everything, goes offline for a further 30 days and is then deleted. We’ll email you before deletion.
Which languages does IMAGEvault support?
The admin and the galleries are available in German, English, French, Italian and Spanish. You pick your language at the top of the admin; your clients automatically see their gallery in their browser language and can switch in the gallery footer.
